Physical Science
Grades 9-12, One Credit
An introduction to the study of mechanics, thermal energy, electricity and magnetism, sound and light, and the structure and properties of matter.

Biology
Grades 9-12, One Credit
Students will develop a bsic understanding of the physical and chemical basis of life, the continuity and changes of organisms over time, the unity and diversity of life, the ecological relationships among organisms, and the behavior of organisms sue to the influences of heredity and environment. Lab Fee: $100

Chemistry
Grades 10-11, One Credit
Students will develop an understanding of the structure and properties of matter, regularities and energy changes, and equilibrium and kinetics. Lab Fee: $50

Physics
Grades 11-12, One Credit
Students will study linear motion, two-dimensional motion, forces, Newton's Laws of Motion, mechanical energy, impulse and momentum, wave motion and wave nature of sound and light, elementary thermodynamics, static electricity, and direct current electrical circuits.

Ecology
Grades 9-12, One Credit
Students will develop an understaning of the processeses, changes, and uses of the materials of the earth with an emphasis on good stewardship. Students will also study the human impact of the tectonic processes; the evolution of the earth system; the water influences such as erosion, depositon, storage, temprature, and movement; the dynamics and composition of the atmosphere and its infludence on climate and air quality; and the influence of the solar system on eary.

AP/Honors Biology
