The Upper School prepares students for life beyond The Patterson School.

The Upper School program provides a strong college preparatory curriculum that encourages increasingly sophisticated thought and analysis. The program includes English, math, science, history, government, foreign language, art, music, and computer science. Advanced Placement courses are available in most disciplines. Where appropriate, courses are articulated with the local colleges and community colleges.

A professional college counsellor works with juniors, seniors, and their parents to help with identifying schools, tailoring schedules, and understanding student strengths and interests.

Beyond the classroom, sports and activities sharpen physical ability and participation and leadership in comprehensive Community Service and performing arts round out the Patterson School experience.
