In 2005 The Patterson School installed new computers and advanced software in the Gard Hall computer laboratory. In addition, more computers were added to the library and wireless access for personal laptop use. The librarian and computer teacher supervise use of the Internet during class and activities periods.

The school offers several academic classes in technology including applications, programming, digital art, web design, and 3D design.

In addition, classroom teachers may bring their classes to the library or the computer laboratory. Students are allowed supervised use of the laboratory and library for two hours before dinner and during the evening activity period. 

Students must sign a computer use form to access the school computers and the internet.
