The Middle School is the bridge connecting elementary grades and high school grades. In these two important years, students continue to develop skills while being asked to go beyond the facts, into analytical thinking. They learn to research topics and employ time management skills. Students gain self confidence and learn the importance of self expression. They find their voices, and ask themselves, “What is it I can do?” They answer by trying all the possibilities and then choosing.

The curriculum includes English, mathematics, history, science, music, and art. Foreign language studies continue or begin. Now students have a different teacher and classroom for each course to promote independence and responsibility.
